Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Cooked ("the App"), an iOS application created and operated by an individual developer. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Who provides the App

Cooked is provided by an individual developer (the "Developer"). For any question about these Terms, contact cookedredflag@outlook.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and at least 18 to purchase a subscription. By using the App you confirm you meet these thresholds and that nothing in your local law prevents you from doing so.

3. License

The Developer grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, or build a competing service on top of the App.

4. What the App is — and isn't

Cooked produces an AI-generated reading about relationship dynamics for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not therapy, not medical advice, not legal advice, and not a substitute for professional counselling. Do not use it to make decisions about safety, health, custody, or legal matters. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

5. Your responsibilities

By using the App you agree that:

• You will not upload photos of minors, IDs, intimate imagery, or anyone who has not consented to being analyzed.
• You will not use the App to harass, defame, stalk, or harm another person.
• You will not feed the App content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• You will not attempt to bypass paywalls, exploit the AI, scrape the backend, or interfere with other users.
• You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for any decisions you make based on a reading.

6. Subscriptions and payments

• The App offers in-app subscriptions sold and processed by Apple via the App Store. The Developer never sees your payment information.
• Subscriptions are auto-renewing unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged at renewal.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard policy. The Developer cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
• Pricing, plan length, and feature scope may change; any change will apply only to future renewals.

7. AI-generated content

Readings are generated by a third-party AI model. They are opinionated, not factual, and can be wrong, biased, or simply weird. Do not treat them as truth about the person being analyzed. The Developer makes no guarantee about accuracy, suitability, or fitness for any purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The App, including its name, design, logo, copy, and code, belongs to the Developer. The output of a reading is provided to you for personal use. You keep ownership of the photos and text you submit; by submitting them, you grant the Developer a limited license to process them solely to deliver the reading you asked for.

9. Termination

The Developer may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the App. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any unused subscription period unless Apple's refund policy applies.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The Developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or secure against every threat.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on a reading. The Developer's total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 25, whichever is greater.

12. Changes to these Terms

The Terms may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change and, where required, you will be notified in-app. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the Developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be brought before the courts competent at that location, unless a mandatory consumer protection rule in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

14. Apple-specific terms

The App is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to these Terms. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide support or handle warranty claims.
